Staying is the new scrolling.
We're done watching other people have fun online.
Shacked is about actually going. Visiting friends, showing up for game days, chasing weekends, crashing somewhere between leases, or just getting out of your routine.
Less scrolling. More staying.
How Shacked Works
Find your spot
Look around for places near campus: weekends, semesters, summers, or storage. Everything you see is posted by real students with real space. If it looks like your vibe, it probably is.
Send a request
Found a place? Request it. You'll add your card so the spot can be held, but nothing gets charged unless the host says yes. No awkward money stuff, no guessing.
Hosts say yes (or no)
Hosts stay in control. They review requests and approve the ones that make sense. When they say yes, you're locked in. When they don't, no stress. You're free to keep looking.
Payment happens behind the scenes
Once approved, payment is handled automatically and securely. You don't have to Venmo strangers. You don't have to chase anyone down. It just works.
Show up
That's it. You've got a place. Now go:
- • See your friends
- • Hit the game
- • Start the internship
- • Survive the gap between leases
Whatever brought you here, you're covered.
Why Shacked?
Because college life isn't linear, and housing shouldn't be either. Shacked exists for the in-between moments: the spontaneous ones, the last-minute plans, the "wait, I actually want to go" moments.
Staying is the new scrolling.
And you should probably get off your phone now.
