Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 15, 2026

Shacked is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and to apply relevant accessibility standards.

1. Standards we aim for

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more usable to everyone.

2. Measures we take

  • Test major user flows with keyboard navigation.
  • Provide alternative text for meaningful images.
  • Use semantic HTML and ARIA attributes where appropriate.
  • Maintain sufficient color contrast in our default theme.
  • Review accessibility as part of new-feature development.

3. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content on the Shacked platform may not yet be fully accessible. Known areas under active improvement include:

  • Some interactive map and date-picker components may not be fully usable with screen readers.
  • Some host-uploaded images may be missing descriptive alternative text.
  • Some third-party embedded components (e.g., payment processing screens) are outside our direct control.

We are working to address these issues.

4. Feedback and assistance

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Shacked, or if you would like to request content in an alternative format, please contact us at Shackedhq@gmail.com and include the following information:

  • The web address (URL) of the material you were trying to use.
  • A brief description of the issue you encountered.
  • Your contact information and preferred response method.

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 10 business days. We will work with you to provide the information, item, or transaction you seek through a communication method that is accessible to you.

5. Formal complaints

We welcome your feedback and will work in good faith to remediate any accessibility issue you raise. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division at ada.gov/file-a-complaint.
